Evaluation Panel

The evaluation panel displays PokerSnowie's advice for the current situation. The player's move is labelled as 'correct' or 'wrong'. 

PokerSnowie's recommended optimal bet size is displayed on the green tab. For every bet size there are three possible actions: fold, check/call, bet/raise.  The EV (expected value) is displayed in big blinds. Every action is assigned a percentage value, this is the percentage of time the corresponding action should be played.

In most cases one move should be played 100% of the time. Sometimes, however, a mixed action is proposed. For example, 90% 0% 10% means that the hand should be folded 90% of the time, never called and 10% bluff-raised.

In situations where PokerSnowie recommends a different optimal bet size, a message will be displayed alerting you to this advice. 

Please be aware of some important concepts to consider when reviewing the evaluation information. For example, the bet sizes are optimized for the whole hand range, therefore it can happen that the EV for a specific hand is higher with a sub-optimal bet size. 

Furthermore, the Ai's decision to play certain moves, is not necessarily based on the EV. This advice is based on the GTO strategy it has learned, where sometimes it learned to play moves with different expected values, because overall they have proven to be positive in the long run. This means that EV’s should be considered as an estimation of the short-term value of the hand.

During training, the evaluation panel will alert you to errors, and blunders, when this feature is turned on.
