PokerSnowie 4

We have been silent for some time on our blog, but we kept busy working and developing PokerSnowie. In fact, few days ago we finally released PokerSnowie 4 for Windows and we will shortly update the Mac version as well. This way we will be finally able to align both versions for Mac and Windows, which will have the same features and user interface going forward.

Quite a number of things have been changed and we are currently working on updating  our online user manual to reflect the new features in PokerSnowie 4. We will get there asap.

Besides some general improvements, like for example the ability to resize the program windows, here  is some more information about key changes we have worked on.

Preflop Advice
New improved grid format.

Range Advice
Moved to a more intuitive grid format, with an improved view of the details linked to the various hole cards combinations (on the right side of the window).

This is how the Range Advice looks in the current PokerSnowie 3 version.

GTO Balance page
PokerSnowie 3 used to have a balance page.  This has now been changed to a more intuitive feature with a balance available in the overview page after your analysis. We are still working on it, aiming to improve it even more, adding some more visual facilities.

My Evolution
We added a few graphs to monitor your evolution over time, in terms of error rate. We believe that in this way you have a very simple and intuitive tool to visually see if you are improving or not, or if you were not doing great during certain sessions, which will therefore give you the ability to work on your weaknesses.

Edit your range in training
If you would like to train your abilities with certain specific combinations of cards, or from certain positions, you can now do it. We have added  the new feature “Edit your range”, where you can select the hole cards which will be randomly distributed to you at the beginning of each hand. Based on our customers input, we are also working on new training customizations.
