New PokerSnowie releases (Mac & Win)
Mac Version
New Preflop Table!
The main great feature we added is a brand new completely revised Preflop Table, displayed in the typical grid format, like many of our users have requested.
It’s much more visual and intuitive, as it’s in a format that is quite standard for ranges display, and moreover it shows visually, at first glance, the right amount of raise/call/fold density, while the current version on Windows and on our website, is displaying fixed full colors for each grid element.
This is how the current Preflop Table looks on Windows:
Besides this update, other useful stuff has been done.
Scenarios improved
It’s now possible to select the preferred layout and drag and drop the dealer. This will make the scenarios setup easier and more intuitive.
Rake-free option
When doing an evaluation and playing in training (cash game) the user can now select the Rake-Free option. In this case, the evaluation of the AI won’t consider any rake. In fact when the user asks for an evaluation, the AI would suggest a move considering that at each stake there is a rake which usually the live poker rooms take. With this option the user can basically get a “pure” evaluation.
Disable animation option (for faster play)
For those who like to play faster, there is now the option to disable the animation. This will surely speed up the game!
Miscellaneous
We have done a number of minor bug fixes to better manage some user messages, some security checks on our end, some connection issues and more.
Windows version
All the changes related to the training part released with the Mac version are also available on Windows. In fact our technical decision has been to integrate in the Windows version the same Training software delivered with the Mac version.
On top of that, we have updated a number of import issues we were having due to some recent hand histories updates, especially with PartyPoker and PokerStars, which are now all fixed. We also added a new currency in the software, the INR (Indian Rupee), and implemented a new site “People’s Poker”.
